I would typically do a Laundry List, but since I actually own all of these items, and Laundry Lists are often reserved for items we haven't bought yet, I decided to put them in their own haul post. Most of these fall under the category of Birthday gifts and fall vacation purchases. I absolutely LOVE and own all of these items, and recommend them. There's a mix of small shops, conscious brands, and basic department stores in here, and a variety of price points. I'm doing my best to buy smarter these days, and mostly that just means things I know I'll love for a good while, that are worth their price-tag, whatever it might say. I gravitate towards materials that feel good, and probably most-importantly, things that fit with my current lifestyle at home with Phoenix. Pretty casual. Pretty cozy. Pretty much a hermit. Okay, let's get into it.
FALL HOME PICKS
Let's start with what I've purchased and received recently for our home. For my birthday, I received the Bee's Wrap from Cordelia, and it has completely replaced any need I had for plastic wrap. Mitch bought me my Wax Buffalo candle in the Autumn fragrance with my birthday gifts, and I adore it. The other items I picked up for super reasonable prices from the Hearth & Hand line at Target. I plan to use the place card holders to hold family photos.
Mitch and his parents went in together to get me this FashionABLE bag that basically makes me want to weep. It's been on my Laundry List for a whole year. It's GORGEOUS. I snagged the leather wallet from the Hearth & Hand collection as well, and cannot believe how affordable it is for the quality. It's floppy and delicate, and makes me hyper with glee. I ended up replacing my iPhone this week too, and snagged that case for $7 'cause it was an open package! Score.
FALL FASHION PICKS
I bought these boots for our vacation to New England in September, and they have been my earth pad of choice this Fall. The rest of these comfy tees and cardigans are affordable and flattering on my shape. I love that the cardigans have pockets, the tees have rounded hems and necklines, and all get softer after washing. I'm still a sucker for a decent price when it comes to basics like this. I've splurged on t-shirts that wear out just as quickly as affordable dupes, and I'm always super bummed. For now, I'm splurging in other areas (hello purse) and saving on cotton tees.
I'd love to hear if you love, own, or buy any of these things, AND I'd love to here what you've spent your pennies on lately. How do you decide what's worth it? What are your thoughts on high vs. low-end and conscious vs. not? Do you have a mix, or are you more puritanical? I'm curious!
