I've been on quite a smoothie kick lately. They are uplifting, packed full of healthy things and easy! I thought I'd share a few of my go-to's with you! I don't measure much, don't let that scare you. You might like more spinach, less apple or more protein and less bananas, who knows?! I also linked some of my favorite products but use what you have, smoothie making isn't a science, it's an art so get creative!!
p.s. if you like cold smoothies, use frozen fruit, add ice or refrigerate before drinking!
Carrot & Turmeric
3 large carrots
Water or coconut water
1/2 orange or 1 whole cutie
Raw honey (I like quite a bit to sweeten it)
Splash of lemon juice
Fresh ginger (or ginger essential oil)
1 tsp. turmeric
Cut the carrots into chunks, blend in blender with water. Strain carrot juice through a fine mesh colander into a bowl. Toss the "pulp of the carrot" pour the juice back into the blender. Add rest of the ingredients. Blend. Taste. Add what's needed.
